Privacy first

Your conversations are yours. Here is exactly what we can and cannot see.

  • Encrypted with a key that stays on your iPhone

    Your saved conversations are encrypted on your iPhone with a key that only your devices hold, synchronized by iCloud Keychain if you use it. Our server keeps them sealed and cannot read them. While an answer is being prepared, your message passes through our server and the AI provider in memory only, and is never stored in readable form.

  • AI providers hosted in Europe

    Answers come from AI providers hosted in Europe, with a fallback in the United States when they are unavailable. Image creation and web search go through providers in the United States.

  • Never used for training

    Nothing you send is used to train AI models, and our AI providers don't keep your messages.

  • Temporary chats

    Start a chat that is not saved: our server keeps nothing of it, apart from an image you create there, sealed for 24 hours.

  • No account to create

    An anonymous account is set up on your iPhone. No e-mail address, no phone number. Delete a chat, or your whole account, at any time in the app.

  • No ads, no tracking

    No advertising, no trackers, and your data is never sold.

    Choose Instant, Medium or High. When a question needs it, EcoChat switches to deep reasoning by itself.

  • Web search with sources

    Up-to-date answers from the web, with numbered sources you can open.

  • Photos and files

    Send a photo, a screenshot or a document, then ask your question about it.

  • Images on request

    Describe an image, or send a photo to change it. Each request creates one image, labeled as made with AI.

  • Projects and memory

    Group chats into projects with their own instructions, and decide what EcoChat remembers.

EcoChat Pro

Start right away, without an account or a subscription: 100 requests a week, with the Instant and Medium thinking levels. EcoChat Pro raises the limits and opens the High level.

EcoChat Pro is an auto-renewing subscription handled by Apple, by the week, the month or three months. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, fair use applies, and you can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings.
